Greg Biffle owned a jet, a Cessna Citation. He and his wife and children boarded his plane and the pilot was a retired airlines pilot. Along side the pilot, was his son, also a pilot. The story is in the video. My question now is elementary. Would you prefer to fly in an airplane that the pilot in command was a pilot in command of commercial jets airplanes or fly with a Cessna trained pilot with the copilot also a Cessna trained co pilot?

They now understand why the airplane crashed. This video is a very good video to learn how it happened and what went wrong. For safety's sake, if you fly, watch it.

I prefer to walk, thx....~S~
Since I am a pilot, I feel great discussing this subject. Should you study and become a pilot, you will have freedom you can only imagine.

Then go you Rob.......and you might even talk me into being your passenger.....apologies that i'm somewhat obstinate .......but i come by it honestly....~S~

One flying experience I will share. I knew a husband and wife who both were schoolteachers. Me and the husband discussed me flying him and his family one day. His wife wanted to sit as the passenger/copilot.
We got into the airplane, husband and kids in back, I was flying above the SF Bay Area, around San Francisco, and asked her if she felt like taking over. I told her I would be her guide. She took over and went over the Golden Gate Bridge and over the Pacific Ocean. I talked to her to ensure she was still comfortable. All in all, she was flying us all back over land, a bunch of miles by Concord Ca and down to Fremont, CA area where I took over since it was time to land and I always took care of that. She seemed to me to be talented and clearly a candidate to get pilot training.

That is true. Crashes can be studied and isolated and we are in charge of our own safety.
