Flu surges in Louisiana as health department barred from promoting flu shotsFlu is rising around the country, but Louisiana is well ahead

It's not cased closed moron. You are calling out Louisiana for having a very high flu out break Oregon is experiencing the same but you are ignoring that.

As I pointed out you can not use one flu season to claim Louisiana is causing this by not promoting the flu shot throw those numbers from Oregon in and it makes the claim dicey as ****.

Public health experts 'horrified'

Health advocates and experts immediately condemned the department's new approach after it was revealed on Friday.

In a statement on Friday, Jennifer Herricks, founder of the advocacy organization Louisiana Families for Vaccines wrote that she was "horrified" by the change and that the state health department is "putting politics ahead of the health of our residents."

Oregon is PROMOTING the flu shot. Louisiana is NOT.

Oregon is promoting flu shots, and the state's health authority recommends that everyone 6 months and older get vaccinated.
And the results are the same as Louisiana

Louisiana is well ahead

More than 11 percent of flu tests in Louisiana were positive, compared to a 3.5 percent positivity rate nationwide.

Oregon promotes vaccinations, GREAT
Louisiana doesn't -- politics over Public Health

and the real kick in the teeth is.... no arguing...

Louisiana is well ahead

I ride motorcycles and fly a paraglider
Oooooh! Alwats wanted to fly. Alas...no place around here to do it and I'm too old now. Landing would probably break an ankle or a leg.

"Do as your doctor recommends" has been stated often in this thread.

My doctors (2) said a resounding NO on getting the jab. Which suited me fine since I didn't plan to anyway.

Is Fraudci still around?

I'll take the flu over Fraudci's vax any day of the week.

And twice on Sundays.
The influenza and covid vaccines are different and separate vaccines and viruses....Fauci did not invent the Flu vaccine.
