I guess it is up to the parent or teacher to pay attention what ages are checking out certain books from libraries. Especially parents. You know. The two that are supposed to pay attention. As long as a private citizen can purchase and read those books without fear of police or other authorities intervening to prevent him/her from doing so, they are assuredly NOT banned.
