Fleetwood Mac

They wrote songs about heartbreak and it resonated with their fans.

Sold out?

Went commercial, like AI says:

"The "Sold Out" Debate:
Whether a band "sells out" is a subjective judgment. In Fleetwood Mac's case, their move towards a more mainstream sound coincided with increased popularity and sales. Some fans may have felt they sacrificed their artistic integrity for commercial gain, while others embraced the new direction and the band's continued success.

In summary, Fleetwood Mac did evolve their sound and achieve significant commercial success, particularly with the album "Rumours". While this led to widespread popularity, it also sparked debate among fans about whether they had "sold out". "

Pre-chick Fleetwood Mac was best Fleetwood Mac.

Fleetwood Mac didn't become popular until Nicks and Buckingham joined the band. They were just a cult band with a small audience prior to that.

May I remind you, Disco was also "popular", even though it sucked. :laughing0301:
