Since we have a new batch of trolls on the board that get joy out of looking like complete fools in a REAL arguement, i figured i'd be Santa Claus alittle early and bring them all the joy they can handle.

The most important reason we attacked Iraq and Afghanistan was because they supported terrorism and sponsored terroist groups. Specifically, they sponsored Al queda. Forget the freeing people or the strategic significance of a democracy in the ME, Saddam was the enemy by his relations with our Direct enemy.

The Guardian reports that Al Queda terror Camps were operating with sponsorship from Baghdad and Tehran before the US ever invaded.

Debka reports that in January of 2003, Iraq shipped its WMD's to Syria before the US invasion took place.

1.7 metric tons of Radioactive Material (uranium) were recovered by US forces in Iraq. This material is used in dirty bombs or could be refined to be used in nuclear weapons.

I was just talking to my bro about this! He gets all the "Homeland memos". One of the things noted is that they cannot deal with a 2-phase problem like Katrina, which was Katrina + canals, NOT levees. The levees were part of Fed, but the canals were LA. The public cannot differentiate, as they are having problems with understanding the buses.

What has happened in LA yesterday and today, is not a problem for Army Corps of Engineers, but rather LA, but the Engineers are going to help, for if they didn't, it would all be laid at their doorstep. Guess who will pick up the tab?

The left has significantly narrowed the definition of terrorists to only those people who belong to Al-quaeda. It's up to us to not bite on this set up and enlighten them to the fact that we are at war with ALL terrorists groups and states that support them--not just Al Quaeda. The obsession with both sides trying to prove or disprove Al Queada ties is moot and bugs the hell out me. After every attack we have to go ape trying to figure out if they were "tied to Al quaeda".
