I can see why you would think Kirk was a racist, and based on the sort of things he said, he could indeed be considered one. But, if you are willing to put aside all the "OMG that's racist", everything he said is correct. A lot of black people get jobs that they otherwise would not have qualified for, due to AA/DEI.
