First Texas bus drops off migrants blocks from US Capitol in Washington, DC

Excellent. Now, how do we convince our power based political autocracys -- over a series of alternating political parties in power and an evolving morally sloppy citizenship to establish and continually maintain such a program?

Specifically, how does the citizenry convince the current administration - currently on track to allow entry of 10-12 million across the Southern border while incumbent -- to put a stop to the influx?
We can start by voting out every Democrat in Congress who will be on the ticket for these midterm elections.

Psaki: It’s ‘Nice’ of Texas to Send Busloads of Illegal Immigrants to D.C.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Wednesday said it is “nice” of the state of Texas to bus illegal immigrants from the border to Washington, D.C., hours after the first bus out of Texas arrived blocks away from the U.S. Capitol building.

Last week, Abbott announced that Texas would be sending willing illegal immigrants to Washington, D.C., by bus and plane in response to the Biden administration’s recent announcement that it will lift Title 42, a Trump-era public-health order that has allowed U.S. border officials to quickly expel migrant families to Mexico, next month.

I wonder if Abbott will send four or five buses at a time to really make the point. That might even receive local coverage. How could they avoid it if citizens take videos themselves and post online?

For as useless as Canada is across so many metrics, our immigration system has been based primarily on merit for some time. America should learn from such an approach.

First Texas bus drops off migrants blocks from US Capitol in Washington, DC

A bus from Texas arrived in Washington, D.C. Wednesday morning, transporting dozens of illegal immigrants as part of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s new plan to counter federal immigration policies during an ongoing border crisis.

Abbott announced last week that he was directing the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to transport migrants released from federal custody in Texas to the nation’s capital and other locations outside his state.

The bus pulled up at approximately 8 a.m. local time, blocks away from the U.S. Capitol building. Fox News has learned that they came from the Del Rio sector in Texas, after coming to the U.S. from Colombia, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.

So Abbott, and Fox News willingly, and knowing committed a federal felony of harboring, transporting, and abbetting illegal aliens, with the intent to release, after crossing state lines?

And the trip was paid for by Texas taxpayers. Once they arrived, they were taken care of by Catholic Charities....better food and lodging than in Texas and given transportation to anywhere in the U.S. they wanted to go. :heehee:

Meanwhile....Texas Nat'l Guard troops are being treated like crap by their own state government on the border.

All for Abbott to get media attention.

Well, Texans paid not to have illegals dumped in their State. What's wrong with that? Every 'dumping' State should do the same, maybe the elitists in D.C. will take notice now.

They will get off the bus in DC and get on the next bus back to texas because there is nothing for them to do in DC. As of 2018, Texas is home to 4,736,700 immigrants, most of whom are from Mexico. lmas
