I hadn't previously thought of it in quite those terms. But like a mafia boss Putin may indeed try to call in what he sees as a debt for his help in 2016. Perhaps throwing out intel agencies under the bus in Helsinki wasn't enough. But you'd think the damage trump has done to the state of our democracy, Putin's main goal, would be.

The last thing democrats want is peace in Ukraine. They tried to assassinate Trump to stop it. Is it because of the kickbacks Ukraine funnels back to democrats? Ukraine is being destroyed. Trump won and we aren’t going to start a dumb needless war with Russia.

The borders of Ukraine that were drawn up by Soviet Communists are going to redrawn to separate the Russian speaking population from the Ukrainians that hate them. Russia is already in possession of those lands, all President Trump will do is recognize the reality on the ground, as opposed to the Biden way of pushing a fantasy that the Ukrainians can take it back.

This war started in 2014 thanks to the Obama foreign policy. Now it will soon end with President Trump 47.

I initially thought his effort to overturn the 2020 election was due to his crushed ego, but now I see his efforts to destroy our electoral system were not finished in 2020. He promised Poootin many things and the pandemic put many on hold. But now he has another chance to bring down many democratic safe guards...and he is anxious to do just that.

His march to fascism will not be sudden or overnight. It will be a slow, methodical dive into his version of Orban and Hungary. The media is one of the real problems for his efforts. Thankfully, he has the richest man in the world in his back pocket. He can buy any news outlets that he want to control the maga narrative. The US is about to begin a slide into autocracy.
