Finally, A Serious Challenge to Derek Chauvin’s Conviction

American Thinker is Reich Wing MAGA MAGGOT scandal rag that pushes half-assed lies and conspiracy theories. Chauvin murdered George Floyd. **** Him and let his rot lying racist ass in prison.
He didn’t murder your dearly beloved Saint George. You just want it to be true to keep the martyrdom scam alive.

The jury even said they convicted him not on the evidence, but only because of how he acted afterwards.

Everyone knows Floyd overdosed on fentanyl. His bloodwork showed way over the lethal amount. His “I can’t breathe” is exactly the symptom of overdosing, which he was yelling long before the officer was kneeling on him.

The fact that you need an innocent man in jail demonstrates exactly how you lefties think. You just want to imprison anyone you think is racist, which is all of your political opposition.

I'm concerned about if the trial was fair, because the dems have a long pattern of SOCIAL JUSTICE, ie being willing to throw INDIVIDUALS under the bus, in pursuit of addressing... supposed larger social issues.

Some lefties on this thread have expressly stated that avoiding black riots is a reason to NOT let the white cop off.

Do you not feel that as a motive yourself? If Chavin was following proper procedure, would you support releasing him EVEN IF IT MEANT VIOLENT AND DEADLY RIOTS FROM THE BLACKS?

Chauvin's lawyers got the chance to exclude jurors who feared violent riots.
So the IMPARTIAL jury of 12 of his peers were convinced of his guilt BEYOND a reasonable doubt. And the trial already upheld at every appeals level.

You're out of gas.

You, and the other cranks on your side of the issue, promote the idea that the neck pressure killed him. Thus, you bear the burden of providing it, jackass!
Actually that's quite simple.
When Chauvin put his knee on Floyd's neck he was alive.
When he took his knee off Floyd's neck he was dead.

It's clear Chauvin intended to keep his knee on Floyd until he was dead.

Here's a question for those about cause of death.

Had Floyd been shot, and Chauvin kept his knee on Floyd's neck until he bled out.
Wouldn't he still face murder charges?

No, it is not that simple. YOU are simple.

No, he kept his knee on him because he was acting like a maniac.

It’s is quite simple, Floyd overdosed on fentanyl. He took a lethal amount, experienced the symptoms, and died from it.

No one cares about your ridiculous hypotheticals.

If this had occurred in New York (under New York law) Floyd could have died from an overdose, and Chauvin would still have been convicted of murder, because Floyd dying of another cause even if proved is not a defense

First, that is your layman's opinion. Second, it did not happen in NY. Are you retarded or something?

Just pointing out that laws are different state to state.
And BTW, what would be the point of Chauvin getting a new STATE trial, when he's facing the same concurrent sentence under federal law. And a new state trial would transfer him back to a high security state prison.

Derek Chauvin is serving his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Big Spring, Texas.

He is serving his state and federal sentences concurrently at the low-security Texas prison.

There is a causation problem in both cases. Never was it established that the knee caused the death, and violated shit-head's civil rights.

There was no question in the federal case. Chauvin plead GUILTY to the charges in a plea agreement, that automatically precludes an appeal of his plea.

You revealed your motive, ie fear of black riots, and in doing so, validated my point, that the dems had a motive to NOT give a fair trial to the cop.

He got a completely fair trial. It's not often you get multiple video shots of him doing exactly what he was accused of.

I'm concerned about if the trial was fair, because the dems have a long pattern of SOCIAL JUSTICE, ie being willing to throw INDIVIDUALS under the bus, in pursuit of addressing... supposed larger social issues.

Actually, it was quite the opposite. Black people have been begging white folks for years to pay attention to cops using excessive force.

Tamir Rice
LaQuan McDonald
Michael Brown
Sandra Bland,

And the mealy-mouthed cop apologists used the same excuses, "I was only following procedure", or "I thought he had a gun"

Then you had this clear-as-day example of a man being systematically strangled to death for nine minutes while he BEGGED for his life.

Do you not feel that as a motive yourself? If Chavin was following proper procedure, would you support releasing him EVEN IF IT MEANT VIOLENT AND DEADLY RIOTS FROM THE BLACKS?
Nope, "I was only following procedure" goes right up there for me with "I was only following orders!"

Ask the Nazis at Nuremburg how that one turned out for them.
