To be clear I have more information about Brigitte Gabrielle than Pamela Geller, Coyote. Could you post the link and what she said that was misinformation and demonizing? If she said something that wasn't true it should be addressed and I would certainly not be in agreement with anything that was a lie - and being sold as truth. So by all means post it and we'll discuss it if you'd like. I personally have not seen much - never visited her blogs - I've heard her speak before on a youtube video and read some of her material but never found anything conspiracy or misinformation. I'm surprised they didn't call her out on it in the media if it happened.

I read the report and if she was publishing Mohammad cartoons as they claim on her site they should have noted the source as they did the Times quotes. With out references for these other statements such as her affiliation with Stormfront it is impossible to verify without looking for other links and sources which I'll do later this afternoon. She was out of order on the public statements on Obama. But we know that happens every day on the internet and that covers both sides of the arguement on whether or not Obama is a Muslim. Still as a leader of an organization - people deserve facts and not opinion mixed with facts. I see statements about Obama - source was provided - that send a mixed message. I'm assuming that is the full quote and not edited out but it doesn't give the date of the news article, the author of the news article, etc. So I have no way of knowing for sure without looking it up. It needs to be fact checked further. imo. That is my opinion of what I've read thus far. But I will follow up and have a look at her blog and give an honest opinion of what I find there. - Jeri

I didn't know of any unhappiness over Geller but it still would not negate the reason for the campaign to fight anti-semitism. I'm very aware that there are people of every race that have been found to be anti-semites. Listen to a youtube skinhead video and you'll see terrible anti-semitism. Listen to an old KKK speech - again - horrific to hear the language used - listen to the speeches of Hitler ( whose face is pasted onto the sides of the buses for this anti - semitic awareness campaign ) and one cringes with horror that any such man could exist in recent history - what a monster he was! This is part of the never again promise that has been made to the survivors of Auschwitz and those who did not make it out - from death camps - this is for speaking out against anti -semitism wherever it is and confronting it head on. This campaign is a response to a prior one by people representing the Palestinians while using anti semitic messages against the Jews. It must be confronted.

If there is to be any dialogue at all they will have to proclaim loudly, "Not in our Name"... this should be done irregardless of who is putting out racist material. Live on the same plot of land ( returned to it ) can trace their family history back further than any other people group through documentation - ancient manuscripts - more factual historical evidence in the Torah than any other work on earth including the Greeks. ( so say the scholars ) I'm barely scratching the surface here - I could go on and on.... p.s. according to your theory, Sunni, there are no direct ancestors from Abraham left upon the earth today - that could not be as it conflicts with scriptures from the Torah.

The book is credited with turning John Walker Lindh into a terrorist - he attended a public school in California where the book was required for study of History.

Geller, co-founder of AFDI states that she is not against Islam but rater Islamic states. However, her blogs and ads placed by the AFDI are clearly an attack on Muslims everywhere. The Jewish Council for Public Affairs has called the ads "bigoted, divisive". Geller has been banned from the UK and the AFDI has been labeled in the UK and other European countries as a hate group and I concur.

While I agree with you that the official stance on this discovery is that is is not proven I find more compelling evidence that Columbus was a Jew than that the other two boats were manned by Muslims headed for America. It does intrigue me so if you have a huffpost article available perhaps I missed the news. I find it interesting that you claim the one which gives no such evidence to be fact while dismissing the story of Columbus being a Jew - while not acknowledging the overwhelming evidence that proves he was. imo. And no, the Hebrew spoken today is not the Hebrew language spoken by the ancient Israelites.

A little over 100 years ago a man named Eliezer Ben-Yehuda almost single handedly revived the Hebrew language that hadn't been spoken as a daily language for well over a thousand years. And was mainly used in religious services. Much like Latin was used in the Catholic church.

Because of this, Yehuda had to invent many of the words spoken by the jews in Israel today.

So for you to claim that the Hebrew language has remained intact since ancient times is clearly false. .

The two ships that sailed with Columbus's Santa Maria; the Pinta, and the Nina were captained by Vicente Yáñez Pinzón and Martín Alonso Pinzón. Both were Catholic. The second voyage consisted of 17 ships and dozens more were used on his 3rd and 4th voyage. There's not much information on the religions of all these captains. I doubt that any were Muslims since all his voyages were financed by the crown.
