But it doesn’t outweigh the benefits. They cost us $160 billion a year. And that doesn’t even count how they:
1) lower the caliber of the public schools
2) drive up rents on modest apartments via demand
3) suppress wages on lower-income hard-working Americans
I’d rather pay 25% more for chicken breasts and have the children of working class Americans get a better education, see rents drop on the lower-income once we deport 20 million illegals, and see raises rise for the unskilled because we don’t have illegal aliens undercutting them.
