Perhaps what we need, rathe than term limits, is a rule that in order to serve in congress, one must be alive.
Dianne Feinstein very obviously died quite some time ago, and continues to function in a quasi-live manner, as some sort of soulless undead zombie-like creature.
I'm a bit reminded of many years ago, when we had Alan Cranston as a Senator, and Rush Limbaugh dubbed him “The Cadaver”. Cranston, in that time, was rather closer to being alive than Feinstein now is.
But, of course, there's no way that Democrats would support any policy discriminating against the dead. The depend on the votes and political support of the dead to put them and keep the in power, and would seriously lose elections of only the living were allowed to vote.
My father almost certainly voted for Feinstein in 2012 and 2018, even though, he was a staunch, lifelong Republican, and before he died in 2008, there is no way that he would have ever supported Feinstein while he was still alive.
