So, I own a small farm. Some of my income is generated by selling excess animals to people who desire the meat. Yesterday, I sold all my excess animals to a group of Muslims who were intending to use the meat to celebrate Eid al Adha.
I am not religious in any traditional way (or perhaps older traditional than otherwise). Their money is still green, cash American. They butcher the animals humanely and use all useful parts of the animal. Am I wrong to sell my produce to muslims?

NO. As long as the animals are not mistreated, whoever the buyer is shouldn't matter.

They actually follow specific rules about slaughtering the goats, including not doing so in sight of the other goats. I thought that was pretty nice. The other goats get kind of freaked out when we slaughter other goats.

I also appreciated that they brought several youngsters along to "help". It's important that young people understand where their food comes from and how the process occurs...At least for me, as a farmer.

be alright if they were in their he11holes i guess . ---------- just a comment !!

My primary contact is a former student of mine and he worked as a translator for our military in Iraq. His goal is to earn an A&P (airframe and powerplant license) and go to work for "us" in the ME as an airplane mechanic. I did find it interesting that the children (4-15 yrs estimated) chose to play "war" as soon as they had sticks in their hands, though. Of course, I played "war" with my brothers and sisters when we were that age, too. Overall, they seem pretty decent and they treat the animals well.
