Immigration is a state issue.

Driving is guaranteed by the Constitution and the Ninth amendment.


The reason is guaranteed by the Constitution is because no SPECIFICALLY ENUMERATED POWER WAS GRANTED authorizing the federal government to regulate it.

Fact is nearly everything is a state issue according to the constitution. We've gotten completely away from that because our leaders ignore the constitution. The constitution is founded on states rights.

According to the constitution states must follow the federal constitution but have no obligation to obey federal laws they deem unconstitutional. Read the supremacy clause.

By the tenth amendment states have the right to overrule federal laws.

as i have said.....out here the license says....NOT FOR FEDERAL USE.....DRIVING ONLY..... so you cant use these to illegally register.....

i dont?.....i voted for plenty of people running for president who were not Californians....look the Licenses out here say they are for driving purposes only.....not for id usage.... driving.....only.....

Driving in a state is a matter of state's rights. There is no federal driver's license. Illegals are no more entitled to a driver's license than anyone else.
