In this particular instance the judge is overstepping the separation of powers and trying to jump into the executive branch which he cannot do. The order can be ignored with impunity. The dead giveaway here is the brainless order to turn the planes around. Judges are not permitted to give orders only to make rulings. His superiors will take him behind the barn on that one.
