The majority participants on boards like USMB are usually strong ideologues, maybe passionate ideologues would be a better term. They are on these boards to destroy the other side of the aisle and criticizes the other sides leaders without mercy. No one is going to change anybody's minds. it is done for different reasons, but NEVER for changing somebody's mind. that would be a waste of resources
some of the participants don't even hold the political views they are displaying. actually the best provocateurs have to be neutral
