Federal Government Plans On Destroying Nearly Half A Million Barred Owls

What does a "plan" actually mean in a gigantic bureaucratic system? Did someone leak a conversation to KIRO for nefarious reasons? I have never seen one. How would they plan to capture half a million?

Why is it that when it comes to animals and plants taking over growth spaces or hunting grounds, it's an invasion. The invasive species must be controlled or kill the invaders. When it comes to humans, it's diversity and it's great gift.

Why is that?

Idiots. They are trying to play God. If the Spotted Owl is dying out, then nature has chosen it to die out due to a lack of adaptation and not being as good a competitor.

The federal idiots will kill off 450,000 of these other owls then eventually more years from now, the inevitable will happen anyway.

Im just explaining the reasons for what they are doing.

You don't like owls?
Virtue-Signaling About Vermin and Vegetation

Not enough to spend a billion dollars of the taxpayers' money on them. Defund PETA. Only degenerate spawn of the ruling class would have the power they have.

How did their weird Animals First! philosophy escape the loony bin? Did they watch too many talking-animal cartoons when they were children? Have they ever grown up at all?

Of course the real problem here is being ignored. Canada. Those bastard barbarians have allowed or likely encouraged this invasion of otherwise eastern owls. Annexing Canada and cordening off the migration path would end future excursions and open the path towards civilization north of our border. Two birds with one stone, as they say.
Can'tada: Pucks Without Peckers

Teach the barred owls to play hockey. They'll soon be fighting among themselves and won't ever make it out of Canada.

With no regard for the Barred Owl?

I dont know, there are about 3.5 million barred owls but less than 15000 spotted owls in the US.

Im not a zoologist, im just relaying what the article said.

You'll have to consult the web for informarion.

The invasiveness of the barred owl would also have an effect on other creatures in the area:

If barred owls replaced spotted owls, the immediate ecosystem impacts would include
a shift in prey and potentially more pressure on certain amphibian and small mammal populations due to the barred owl's broader diet.
