Federal Court grants sweeping nationwide injunction against Trump DEI executive orders

But it most certainly does.

It is well-documented that in order to qualify women in certain professions the standards of training has been lowered. This means that women and lesser men are employed (by certificate) in jobs that could (and have been) the source of great harm and losses of lives.
If it's well documented then post something that supports your claim. Saying it's common knowledge doesn't make it so.

Better yet, I'll give you something specific. For the longest time but especially since the mid-air collision over the Potomac, people are crawling out of the woodwork blaming every single mishap on DEI which for the vast majority of them is code for Black people, but they're also not above throwing women under bus as well as you have pointed out.

So the requirements to fly left seat on the flight deck of a commercial airline are spelled out in the various federal rules & regulations. Anyone can look at the requirements in order to to find what they need to do if they want to fly commercially.

So please explain to me how & why DEI is allowing people who are not qualified, lesser qualified or just barely qualified to obtain positions with major airlines flying multi-million dollar aircraft and have the lives of hundreds of the flying public in their hands?

That doesn't make good fiscal sense, that doesn't make good public relations in the event something goes wrong, it doesn't make good legal sense from the perspective of liability. It doesn't make sense at all actually.

DEI qualifies on the basis of race/gender regardless of ability rather than basing ability regardless of race/gender.
That is not what DEI does or rather how it works. If you have knowledge of something to the contrary please post it.

I can do that if you want. Sure.

Did I say "it's common knowledge"? I'm sure that I didn't say that.

‘A federal judge in Maryland temporarily blocked key portions of President Donald Trump’s executive orders targeting diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in the federal government and corporate America.

U.S. District Judge Adam B. Abelson granted a preliminary injunction on Friday that bars portions of Trump’s orders to cancel federal contracts with DEI components and require government contractors to certify that they do not engage in DEI practices that violate antidiscrimination laws. The order also prohibits enforcement against publicly traded companies and large universities with comparable policies.

In reference to enforcement against companies and universities, Abelson noted that the plaintiffs were “likely” to succeed on their claim that such actions would violate constitutionally protected free speech.

“That is textbook viewpoint-based discrimination,” Abelson wrote. “The government’s threat of enforcement is not just targeted towards enforcement of federal law. Rather, the provision expressly targets, and threatens, the expression of views supportive of equity, diversity and inclusion.”’

Very good.

The racist, bigoted right will of course denounce the ruling, consistent with their hate and unwarranted fear of diversity and inclusion, and their desire to compel conformity and silence dissent.
Of course. We want good workers. Not limp wristed swishers and "Ghetto Bros".

LOL

This too shall fail.

DEI is racism by any name.

That's ok. Trump is a fascist dictator and a King. He doesn't have to listen to no stinking judge.

jones you are a bigot so you aint much different....show some integrity and get out here and prove me wrong....you wont be able to though....

The first Supreme Court case has went against Trump.
Not true. They delayed their decision until the 26th.

With a bare majority of five justices, the high court neither granted nor rejected the administration’s plea to immediately remove him. Instead, the court held the request in abeyance, noting that the order expires in just a few days.

Trump wanted them to rule for him. They did not. Their argument or ruling is to "let the process work".

That's not what Trump wanted.

You said that the 1st USSC decision went against Trump.

That is a LIE. They postponed the decision until after 2/26. There was no signed "decision".

Nobody won and nobody lost, yet.

It did. I noted why. Trump isn't interested in letting the process play out. He wanted the court to rule he can do whatever he wants.

The leftists don't get it....Trump wants leftist "judges" to throw-up roadblocks, then have them overturned in another court.

That way he gets at least 2.5 years to do the needful while it heads to SCOTUS.

Sadly, till the left loses filibuster power in the senate and there are RINOs around that is the way things will have to work.

Trump can’t “ban” legal activity by canceling contracts. He would need to take DEI to court and claim the activity is unconstitutional and win in court. Trump vastly overestimates his ability to do things outside the law. Almost everything he has done will be undone and like his first administration nothing of consequence will be achieved.

Good, DEI is the "N" Word. Racist Reich Wingers embrace hate regardless of what it is called.
