That was just a routine shakedown by corrupt government officials.

Trump chose to be a very high profile promoter of the family business and used ostentatious displays of wealth to do it. And while it was very effective it also made him a frequent mark for corrupt politicians. It's like walking through the ghetto at night wearing a suit made of $100 bills.

Trump was wise enough to not to take too many tenants with the same source of income. Trump group was refusing to take a shitload of section 8 vouchers and the corrupt government accused him of discriminating against blacks, even though they rented to hundreds of blacks who were not section 8.

The Housing and Community Reinvestment Act of 1974 was a new thing back then. Nobody knew how long these new section 8 certificates were going to last. If the government ends the program suddenly you have a bunch of tenants that can't pay their rent. If the government suddenly decides that every section 8 apartment must be equipped with a color TV a solid gold toilet and a holodeck you must comply at very great expense. That's a huge risk to take on.

Trump was not in any way discriminating against blacks. That's simply more projection from the Democratic party of slavery, Jim Crow, and mandatory racial discrimination.

Recently the Democrats literally tried to make racial discrimination by the government MANDATORY. So **** you.
