So 2.4 Million Civilian Employees + 1.32 Million Active Duty Military (Yes, DOD is a Federal agency) = 3,720,000 employees.

1,000,000,000 / 3,720,000 = $268.82 per person.

I've never been able to tell you how it happened, but I learned to think critically and it must be due to my 60's education in the Midwest, but neither my next older nor my next younger brother, who went to the same schools and probably had many of the same teachers as I, developed critical thinking.
