Federal agencies have spent $4.6 Billion on furniture since 2021, despite most employees working from home.

Why does a picnic table need to be solar powered?
It is for the lights so they can be used at night. You can buy umbrellas for your patio that have solar lights built into them if you so desire.

$4.6 Billion that's a scary number.

Now lets put it in context.

Thats about $1 Billion a year over the 5 year period.

So 2.4 Million Civilian Employees + 1.32 Million Active Duty Military (Yes, DOD is a Federal agency) = 3,720,000 employees.

1,000,000,000 / 3,720,000 = $268.82 per person.

The mooching deadbeat losers can work on a bare floor! HELLO $36 TRILLION in debt does that sound like we have the money to piss away billions on f'ing furniture?

The unnatural hate consumes them and blinds them to any chance that they might have been wrong. MSM indoctrination is powerful to people who do not think critically.
.

I've never been able to tell you how it happened, but I learned to think critically and it must be due to my 60's education in the Midwest, but neither my next older nor my next younger brother, who went to the same schools and probably had many of the same teachers as I, developed critical thinking. It's been a mystery.

Both brothers, BTW, were radical right wingers.

#1 I didn't imply that eveqry person received furniture. I put the scary number in context as a function of duration (5 years) and number of people 3,720,000 that the budget has to support.

#2 It's not a defense of "the deep state" (another term used to scare people), it's putting the logistics in perspective.

Some examples.

The USS Kennedy (CVN-79) is nearing ccompletion. Wanna bet there was a lot of furniture needed for that?

The Army has been working on barracks remodeling and modernization such as Fort E

In 2024, the Army is prioritizing barracks modernization, with a focus on renovations and new construction to improve living conditions for Soldiers, including projects like Fort Eisenhower, Fort McCoy, Fort Carson. A remodeling project of $5 Billion dollars to support the troops, which would - logically - include a hell of a lot of furniture.

How about some numbers on how much furniture was purchased for the White House and Senate confirmable appointees so see what their redectorating bills were?

You have to try and use the military to defend the deep state bureaucrats' waste. Shameful display. :nono:

Will Trump stop the buying of furniture? Probably not.

Trump just says "Vote me, I'll change things" and then changes things but not for the better.

We wouldn't even have known about it if not for Trump and Musk.

You would have just clapped like a seal when Kamala Harris said your taxes need to go up because the government doesn't have enough money.

We wouldn't even have known about it if not for Trump and Musk.

That's why the deep state worshipers hate them.

$8000 per picnic table.

10% to The Big Guy!
IDK. I just saw pix of them on a news site and it said there were 30. Looked like an outdoor eating facility at some overseas location but forget now where they said it was as the name didn't ring a bell with me
