A St. Paul man has been acquitted on all charges stemming from an incident where he shot at Minneapolis police officers in self-defense last summer.
Long story short, the police fired rubber rounds from an unmarked van at people standing around. The people thought they were being shot at and one returned fire.
When the police announced their presence, he laid down his firearm and laid on the ground.
Then the police began beating him despite him complying with their orders.
Jury acquitted him of charges. He was acting in self defense.
