FBI doubted probable cause for Mar-a-Lago raid but pushed forward amid pressure from Biden DOJ, emails reveal

Then Hillary should have been president, if she could direct her campaign, and micromanage three companies at the same time. Four if you include the DNC.
Micromanage? She was a ******* QUEEN! She did nothing, but ordered her minions to do shit for her.

She lost because the American people knew she was a sociopath so rejected her.

Not at all the same for Trump. The prosecutors determined ample evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump had stolen classified documents.

Moreover, they found ample evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump had obstructed justice repeatedly in his attempt to hide the documents from investigators.
When did they put Trump in prison? Show us the date of his conviction over this issue.

Whoever wrote that memo gave their opinion which was proven to be wrong.

They did have probable cause, which is why a judge signed off on the search warrant.
Yup. As we've seen time, and time, and time again, TDS judges sign off on all kinds of shit as long as it is aimed at hurting Trump. And you cultists cheer.

Don't be a troll. I doubt you're unaware of what happened to the case.

The case ended only because Trump became president and the DoJ is not allowed to prosecute the president.

After he leaves office, the case can resume. I doubt it will, but it should in the name of justice.

I am amazed at the cult loyalty they show for Hillary.

The search warrant has stood up in court, so I don't think your opinion is accurate.

No stupid, they had no case and jerk Smith was illegally appointed.

They would have if it had gone to trial. The evidence against Trump presented in the indictment and supporting documents was extensive.

I mean, Trump publicly admitted he took the documents too.
Trumps lawyer (Todd Blanche) was still arguing that Trump had declassified the documents..

As far as I'm aware, no one had ever said in court that Trump had actually declassified anything.

Biden had 2 years to convict Trump. It is over since this took place.

WASHINGTON — The FBI did not believe agents had probable cause to raid President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in August 2022 — but former President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice approved the search anyway, according to newly released records.

An FBI official even noted that agents had spent six “counterproductive” weeks trying to establish they had grounds for a search warrant but they were eventually overruled by the DOJ, with one top official grouching that he “frankly [didn’t] give a damn about the optics.”

“We haven’t generated any new facts, but keep being given draft after draft after draft,” one official in the FBI’s Washington Field Office groused in a July 13, 2022, email. “Absent a witness coming forward with recent information about classified on site, at what point is it fair to table this?”

The bombshell details were lodged in internal records released Tuesday by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa).

Judge Reinhart, of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, authorized the search warrant on August 5, 2022, after finding probable cause based on the affidavit presented by the Department of Justice. Reviewing and approving search warrants is a standard duty of federal magistrate judges.

Bruce Reinhart was sworn in as a United States Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Florida on March 14, 2018.

Cases involving national security and classified documents naturally take longer to prosecute because of the nature of the evidence.

Moreover, they were slowed by some very inappropriate decisions from Judge Cannon whose independence and judgement was very much in question.

This article is irrelevant. They did have probable cause and that was proven in court.

Got proof it was approved in Court. Don't say judge, it has to be done by trial.

Why are Democrats so angry over the recent disclosure by Sen Grassley?

Same for Trump, as you claim for Biden.

Wrong, wrong again

Trump was prosecuted for his flagrant refusal to return documents and obstructing investigation. Winning the election was the only reason why the slam-dunk criminal case against him was dropped.
