Actually the National Archives started double checking the presidential records, and found that among the hundreds of thousands of documents turned over to NARA, some classified documents were found in what were supposed to be unclassified boxes.

But no real harm was done, as all the records were under NARA protection. And upon discovery were transferred into more secure storage.

Sure, mistakes happen, but Trump clearly refusing to fully co-operate with National Archives, clearly intending to personally keep gov documents including highly classified national security ones is a whole different ballgame.
