FBI Director Says a Judge Accused of Helping Someone Evade Immigration Agents Has Been Arrested

They (using an self-signed warrant) wanted the judge to do their jobs.
No, they had an administrative warrant signed by an immigration hearing official. That is what is used to arrest illegal aliens to force their attendance at their deportation hearings.

For her sake her lawyers better offer a better defense than that
She will cop a plea. Losing this case would cost her law license and judgeship. It will probably get pled down to a misdemeanor saving her job unless the federal attorney decides to set an example.

If she keeps her speech respectful, you are probably right.
Want to bet on whether she goes on TV and gets mouthy or not?

She’s probably arrogant enough to run her mouth. She certainly didn’t hesitate to abuse Federal Agents in public areas of the courthouse while wearing her judicial robes.

I think the same way. I believe this will be an enjoyable show.

People are always arrested for suspicion of illegal conduct. In both judge’s cases, there was enough probable cause for another judge to issue a warrant for their arrest. Now the cases go to either a Grand Jury, or hearing, and if the evidence shows it is more than likely they committed the crimes they are accused of will then go to trial to determine their guilt or innocence.
no one has ever been arrested for suspicion,, because suspicion isnt a crime
they need RAS to arrest someone if not caught in the act

Read the charges of any defendant. They are always suspected of committing a crime,
youre confusing suspicion with reasonable articulable suspicion,,

you cant be arrested because someone thinks you committed a crime,,

they have to be able to reasonably articulate that crime,,
