A show arrest was made. No charges filed.
CNN —
A Milwaukee County Circuit judge was arrested by the FBI Friday and charged in federal court for allegedly helping an undocumented immigrant avoid arrest.
Judge Hannah Dugan is facing two charges for obstruction and concealing the individual from arrest. She made an initial appearance in court and was released.

In charging documents, investigators said that plainclothes federal agents went to Dugan’s courtroom on April 18 with the intention of arresting Flores-Ruiz. A Mexican immigrant, Flores-Ruiz had been removed from the United States in 2013, but immigration officials learned he was back in the country illegally because of his arrest in a local domestic

Maybe it's a theory regarding faces...
.

Isn't it amusing to watch the throngs of people who use the word without being able to define or even spell it!!!!

I knew how to spell it when the only time I used it was to whine at my mom for not letting me do what I wanted to do!

She has a right to control her courtroom.

This is going nowhere.
.

So aiding and abetting a defendant in the act of obstructing law enforcement is defined as "controlling her courtroom".

Y'all need to get ready to see a whole lot more of this. It's coming. If you don't like it, stand out in the street and scream.

We'll enjoy it.

Arrested a sitting judge eh?
This is significant escalation, I think.
Of course, if the judge broke the law...she deserves to be arrested.
If~

The FBI on Friday arrested a Wisconsin county judge accused of helping a man avoid immigration enforcement, Director Kash Patel said.
Patel made the announcement in a post on X and said his office believes Judge Hannah Dugan "intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse.”
Patel identified the subject as Eduardo Flores Ruiz and said Dugan’s actions allowed Ruiz to evade arrest.
The Justice Department didn't immediately have a comment Friday. A person answering the phone Friday at Dugan’s office said he could not comment. The Associated Press left an email and voicemail Friday morning seeking comment from Milwaukee County Courts Chief Judge Carl Ashley.

The arrest marks an escalation in the Trump administration’s fight with the judiciary over the White House's sweeping immigration enforcement policies. The Justice Department had previously signaled that it was going to crack down on local officials thwarting federal immigration efforts.

Patel made the announcement in an X post, which was quickly deleted. The FBI did not immediately respond to requests for comment on why the post was removed.

Patel wrote that the FBI believes Milwaukee Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan “intentionally misdirected federal agents away” from Eduardo Flores Ruiz as agents were attempting to arrest him at her courthouse last week.

“Thankfully our agents chased down the perp on foot and he’s been in custody since, but the Judge’s obstruction created increased danger to the public,” Patel said in the post.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Tuesday that the FBI was looking into Dugan’s conduct surrounding an attempted arrest by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents at her courthouse on April 18.

So, the initial post....has been removed? Was she really arrested?

Breaking story...much to be learned still~
Get 'em all!

It's unnecessary. The person has already been ordered deported. Getting a warrant is a waste.
If there is an official order, I doubt the judge would have intervened. If it was some DOGE kid comparing database queries, that seems much less official and the judge might have been justified.

You must first determine they are here illegally, only after that can you arrest them. They can't just stop someone ar random and demand they prove they are citizens.
has it ever crossed your mind they just used the list and info biden collected on them when he let them into the country??

he did get who they are and where they would be while in the country,,

Good. Corrupt judges need to be ousted.

As expected and right on cue ... Leftist seditionists will object to enforcement of laws they don't like.
Give it some time to see how arresting judges works out for America?

It's not going to be evident what's happening over a couple of weeks.

Develop your argument to defend the practice!

.

At least.

If not treated as we are supposed to treat traitors.

Give us the definition, in your own words, of "fascism".
