1) Vance is a dem,that won election, McCabe and Comey were both already in the FBI when Trump took office. Comey was in fact fired by Trump, McCabe was the "acting" director for a few months after Comey was fired....and McCabe was also fired from the FBI, after the IG discovered he lied, repeatedly, in regards to the Clinton case

2) It's possible Conner would see the light and change his ways...there is always that possiblity for humans....like Strom Thurmond...but it's possible he wouldn't...remember Xiden, Byrd etc.
