I just finished watching this movie it has a lot of good character actors early in their careers and it is a good story in a gritty type of way.
Shack Out on 101 is well done.

Was Lee Marvin a NYer?

I'm gonna say "Blue Velvet". Everyone should see it once.

Not sure what the criteria is for "not well known". Munich with Eric Bana...is that not well known? Thoroughly love that movie. But if you're talking about ones that didn't seem to spend any time in the theaters....I have some thoughts:

Great ending...good story...A real feel-good film. Miramax though 🤷‍♀️

Asks some troubling questions. Excellent film. Excellent cast. Faye Dunaway, Garry Marshall, Brendan Fraser, Jennifer Beals, etc...

Documentary of sorts. Huge flick flub in it though. Watched it several times and pick up a new detail each time.

James Woods is 100% a tool today but most people missed Diggstown which was a solid caper movie.

Bradford Dillman, Diana Hyland, and Ed Asner

I highlighted Ed because, tho he did a great job with the script, he didn't learn a thing from it.

Munich was great. I think Spieiberg produced that movie surpringly (if I'm not mistaken) and Bana played the role well. It was based on history and was balanced in how it depicted the spycraft all the way down to the toll it takes on the agents.

The scene where Bana believes the C.I.A interferred with the attempt on the ones terrorists life was very believable. The guys on the street who pretend they are drunk and bump into the Mossad agents thus preventing them from getting their target. I'm not an agent obviously, but that scene came off perfectly as one would expect a non-violent, interception. It also raised the question with viewers, "why",,,

The world is murky and imperfect. Being the Good Guys and defending principles is all that matters. However honourably it can be achieved
