Farmers on the hook for millions after Trump freezes USDA funds

But that is not what we are talking about here. We are talking about a small business, in a cut-throat market, using solar panels to pump water to their crops. Something farmers have done for more than a hundred years, searching for the best way to get water to their crops.
Or run their chill rooms. But let's not have reality intrude on MAGAt fantasy.

Nobody uses solar panels to pump water on commercial farms.
Stupid bastards who've never grown a commercial crop in their lives are always with us. No wonder the US tariffs and quotas the **** out of NZ produce. We'd eat the US's lunch in a millisecond.

Solar pumps can now do all the jobs that petrol, diesel or mains pumps can. Solar systems are capable of pumping thousands of litres an hour and pumping uphills hundreds of metres high. And importantly are basically free to run and have little or no impact on the environment.
Installing a solar pump system allows farmers to provide stock with water from sources that are not near a mains power supply and most times solar systems cost less to run than other systems. Providing water on hill farms for stock water supplies, pumping water from streams and lakes for stock and providing irrigation water in remote ...

“Farmers report missing millions of dollars of funding they were promised by the U.S. Agriculture Department, despite promises from the Trump administration that a federal funding freeze would not apply to projects directly benefiting individuals.
[…]
Farmers who signed contracts with the Agriculture Department under those programs paid up front to build fencing, plant new crops and install renewable energy systems with guarantees that the federal government would issue grants and loan guarantees to cover at least part of their costs. Now, with that money frozen, they’re on the hook.

Laura Beth Resnick, who runs a Maryland flower farm, said she signed a contract for the Agriculture Department to cover half of a $72,900 solar panel installation. In late January, she said, she was told her reimbursement payment was rejected due to Trump’s executive order.”

More Trump chaos and incompetence; Trump is unfit to be president.
Now it's flower Farmers with solar panels

You ain't a farmer. A farmer does not need Google to figure out how to water crops

You ain't grown commercial crops, the system you link to is good for 4000 liters a hour, if you only have to pump around 30 meters

New Zealand's corn crop alone requires 1 trillion litres of water

There ain't enough sun filled days in a growing season, or even a year to pump that much water with this system

The biggest glaring error your pee brain did not figure out is farmers use water by the acre foot, not litres.

Commercial farmers don't use solar. I am sure one out there was paid to do use solar so that solar can make a ridiculous claim.

Of all the stupid thing to claim, that farmers use water by the litre and not acre ft.

Sure, and the phone autofill words based on the first couple of letters, so there is that too. Care to start a thread on phones or grammar?
It autofills with words that aren’t even words??
