True but again Bill Clinton lied in front of Congress about an illicit relationship between two consenting adults. He was impeached for the perjury but not removed from office by the Senate in much the same way that Trump was not convicted in the Senate and removed from office after he incited an attempted coup on American democracy. The Senate Majority Leader at the time, Mitch McConnel went on record saying that although Trump was "practically and morally responsible" for the January 6th Capitol attack he believed that Congress "lacked the constitutional authority to convict a former president." He went on to say that he believed based upon the evidence that Trump could be convicted for his criminal acts in court as a civilian.
We all know how that turned out. Trump's crack team of attorneys bounced around and abused the legal system long enough to run out the clock until he could secure reelection and Jack Smirh's criminal case against him for his role in the insurrection became moot and was dismissed.
So yeah, Trump has managed to game the system so that he never has to ever tesfify under oath to anyone and in those extremely rare instances when he actually has had to he just pleads the fifth.
Bill Clinton certainly could have taken a lesson from Trump.
But I digress.
Donald Trump has lied through his teeth to us (although not under oath to an obviously sycophantic and enabling Congress) about his involvement with perhaps the most notorious child sex trafficker and debauched pedophile in American history.
Why did Trump lie about that?
Do you think it is just "ok" that Trump lied to you about that?
And perhaps most relevant, if the man would lie through his teeth to you about hanging out with a child sex trafficker and pedophile...what the hell else will he be willing to lie to you about?
