Oh, do come along. You knew I was onboard from my first sentence.

... the Blue Origin thing was conceived from the start as nothing more than ... a joy ride ....
The thing doesn't need to be space-worthy. I doubt the thing even has an oxygen system ......
In other words .....

Pft. It's a publicity stunt. When she kissed the ground......
It's like the square needle in the left testicle and the horizontal vagina. In Vietnam we all said we'd kiss the ground when and if we returned from the war but no one really did it. Your are right ..... a publicity stunt is exactly what it was.

Pft.

It's a publicity stunt. When she kissed the ground, you knew how uncultured and pampered these ladies were.

Did you refer to the men who kissed the ground when they landed as "uncultured and pampered"?

There is a world of difference to the reaction to all of the "rich, pampered men" who went into space on Bezo's first couple of rocket flights, and the way people are talking about these women.

Everyone thought it "cool" that William Shatner - a rich pampered actor, went into space. Why scorn and derision for these women????

The women paid for their flights out of their own pockets. Is that what pisses you off?

You can drop the gender based argument, interloper.

These women have not endured the rigors of astronaut training.

The women you're looking for are currently preparing for the Artemis mission to the moon. Get your priorities straight.

Because it was cool, and no one made a big deal about it. Shatner just went along with a crew of trained astronauts.

Why scorn and derision for these women????
Screw these women. I have never even heard of any of them before except Perry and only because she did a halftime show a few years ago (and it sucked). The objection is to the huge media fandango show they have made out of it being the first "all woman" launch into space.

Truth be told, had anything gone wrong with the mission, not a single one of them had the slightest idea what to do about anything.

Bezos used all his brain. :auiqs.jpg:

What men are you speaking of? Be specific.

They went into space as true astronauts, a representative of American TV space-travel culture, or passengers ➡️ not PR'd specifically for being men.

Be careful. The sun is coming out soon and you'll melt.

And the mishap would have been played out as "sexist".

They shoulda brought men along then we could see what screwing women in space would be like. It'd prolly make it to Porn Hub.

It would definitely be more of a contribution to science than whats-her-name did.

At the very least, there should have been one person aboard the flight with actual knowledge of what to do if anything went wrong.
Weren't no "encase of emergency pull this cord right here" eh ? 🤣

It all looked so corny to me, and yes definitely it appeared as a liberal PR stunt or they used it as a PR stunt trying to gain back some ground after the humiliating loss to Trump caused by their radical agenda's.
No oligarchs there eh? Where were AOC and Bernie?
