Exclusive: FBI finds scant evidence U.S. Capitol attack was coordinated - sources

The investigations have shown it was not an insurrection and not one person has been charged with insurrection. You can't have an insurrection without anyone being charged with insurrection.
An attack of this nature was unprecedented in modern times so it's understandable that they wouldn't necessary want to risk these idiots escaping justice simply because there is no existing case law involving insurrection when they can just go ahead and charge them with a slew of other legitimate violations for which they can be relatively sure they can convict.

LOL. It's actually quite hilarious how you guys won't accept facts. The fact is the FBI found no signs of an insurrection. Why do you deny facts?
Ever heard the saying "There's the letter of the law and the spirit of the law"?

They're still being charged for the crimes they committed, that's a good thing, many of them now have a record or a longer rap sheet.

The investigations haven't shown shit because the investigations are not done. This was an insurrection. I am not going to play your punk ass game of denial. These people attacked the capital with aims to overthrow the government. This was an attempted insurrection.

Be sure to let us know when one of the 500+ people that were arrested is so charged.
Not going to participate in your childish crap of they aren't charged with an insurrection so there was no insurrection. They busted into the capital trying to get the people conducting the certificstion of the election to stop the process so trump could be reinstated. That's attempting an insurrection.

The FBI investigation showed there was no planned insurrection. It was a mostly peaceful protest with several getting out of hand, just as what happened all summer long in 2020. And, yes, those summer's long rioters took over swaths of land from the US and tried overrunning federal courts, you know, the things which help give us democracy.

Translation: The biased partisan House's investigations aren't done.

Yeah... an insurrection. The term is very hyperbolic for what happened. Bunch of right wingers mad about the election, but an attempt to over throw the government? Honestly, does anyone even believe that? Look at the people who were there. A large majority of them probably still live in their parents basement playing dungeons and dragons listening to Alex Jones.

A few of them took it WAY too far.

But an insurrection... seriously. Anyone that calls it an insurrection has no clue what it would actually take to do so in this country. The term is being used to accentuate the narrative and spur the emotions of the left. The phrase don't bring a knife to a gun fight... this would have been the equivalent of bringing a napkin to a gun fight.

What will the left call an actual insurrection that takes place?

Well then, there are a lot of incidents over the years that could be classified as insurrection that have not been. CHOP comes to mind as a temporarily successful one, where a group managed to treasonously declare themselves and a part of the United States independent from the government of the United States, the state of Washington and the city of Seattle. They only gave up and went home after they realized that no one was obligated to feed them or keep their cell phones charged. Then there was one of Obama's mentors, Bill Ayers, who attempted a violent insurrection through bombs with his little group. Then there are the BLM protestors who attack federal and police buildings. You don't get to pick and choose any more. If a group attempts to change the government or force it to do something through violence, it's an attempted insurrection. Here's where you chime in with something along the lines of, "That's different because reasons...Orange Man Bad!!!".

Seriously, how many of the rioters (because that's what it was) had any idea of what they were going to do with the government of the United States once they got control of it? I mean, talk about a dog chasing a car until it catches one.

the lies about what happened are with precident, however.

kavanaugh
russia
Trump said to drink bleach

the list goes on and on. the left makes up a bunch of shit then acts offended anyone would dare question THEIR morality while they lie about everyone else's.

Just as with all good little investigations, the conclusions are being leaked to point public opinion in the desired direction so there isn't a mass mutiny when one side or the other realizes they aren't going to get what they wanted. Now, we know that you will continue forever bleating that this was an insurrection and demanding that anyone who even thought about being there should be tarred and feathered until you feel better, but when you do, you will be reminded that, by your standard, a whole lot of people you defend are also guilty of insurrection.

The Democrat's engaged in an "insurrection" as soon as Trump was sworn in or took office. Infact it may have started before that, otherwise as their confidence was at an all time high thinking that he wouldn't be elected, and it was all because of what ???? Now what was the all because of, and how was it being coordinated ???? That is the question's needing to be answered now.
That does bring to mind "RESIST", and "NOT MY PRESIDENT" as examples of refusing to accept the will of the people and the government they voted for. As an insurrection, that was far more widespread and potentially far more dangerous. The government was in absolutely no danger from the riot.

No, I saw what happened. It was an attempted insurrection.

No, because the majority of the people did not vote for trump.

The government was indeed in danger on 1-6.

No, there can't.

It's totally irrelevant whether the majority vote went to TRUMP!, he won by the only measure that matters, and he was the rightful president. Those who vowed to resist and denied him as president put themselves into opposition with the rightful government of the United States, and thus in insurrection and treason. And no, the government faced no such danger. Not a single office faced shutdown, disbanding, or anything of the sort. A ragtag bunch of rioters posed no more threat to the government of the United States than did the BLM rioters who attempted to overthrow their local governments' police forces.

No, there can't.
Wow, you didn't even bother to give any reasons. How was CHOP not insurrection? They literally seized land from the government and declared themselves free of government control. How was Obama's mentor not in insurrection with his attempts to force the government to do things through violence? Gotta do better than "Nuh-uh".

The Seattle government still operated. Ayers was not Obamas mentor.

The difference here was that this was a violent attempt to reinstall a president. They weren't calling a few city blocks theirs, these guys were trying to end our national system of democracy. You want to deny this, but we all saw what happened. The investigations have not ended, they have barely just begun.
