The documentary - titled “Oct 8” - explores the shocking and immediate reaction to the massacre of Jews. Rather than sympathize with the innocent Jews who were tortured to death, the response was to IMMEDIATELY side against the victims and protest in support of the HAMAS terrorists. This was seen 1) on liberal college campuses, 2) on social media (this site is an example), and 3) on the streets.
It has been highly rated and is in theaters for only a week, in case anyone is interested.
More than 100 movie theaters across the United States will release on Friday a scathing documentary that examines how antisemitism exploded on college campuses, social media, and the streets across America starting the day after Hamas-led terrorists went on a deadly rampage across southern...

There appeared to be a push around the globe, a thirst even, for antisemitism and anti-Americanism that had slowly by surely been more accepted and promoted by the mainstream and illogical driven by well funded pressure campaigns. Judeo-Christian values unfairly in their crosshairs.
As a student of history, I wouldn't suggest that the correlation between the propaganda we have watched over years is akin to Goebbels organized efforts, but, the fidelity from corporations and well known celebrities is perplexing and dangerous. The irony is that they have whipped up much of the hatred and violence through words, slogans or blind obedience to cancel people etc.
As such, the hatred didn't fully express itself in the U.S until after Oct 7th where those with roots in Palestine and others in the region felt emboldened to
share their hatred and localized propaganda from the region due to the war. Again, well funded, even by some nation-states I'm sure.
This thread can even be followed if one tries and follows incidents as I have tried. Don't forget Schumers rare public outburst of disappointment when he was in China when this event occurred and the CCP refused to condemn the attack.
The slow learners realized that smiles don't mean much when you have to turn your backs to these same people...
The lack of concern for Israeli hostages has always disgusted me the most to be honest and European leaders have been so eager to appeal to a voting bloc which clearly has great influence that they would rather appease the UN nations in the region other than Israel who was the victim of the attack and had their citizens being held. I have no problem with anyone being outraged if the IDF accidentally bombs a mosque or hospital, the U.S and allies have made such mistakes in the M.E themselves.
What is irrational though is the dismissing of the innocent people taken hostage, abused, murdered, some who haven't even had a chance to start their lives and which started this war. I try and call out both injustices equally as to not do so would bother my conscience. The key difference being that one is deliberate while the other is accidental.
Hatred comes in all forms and when it is based on skin color, religion, sexuality, political beliefs it is a violation of the U.S Bill of Rights regardless of who the victim is.
We've been conditioned to believe that this simply can't be true if you are Jewish, Christian or a White, straight Atheist. This is offensive and we should all stand up against hatred without shame, whether it is against someone who is black, asian, white, Muslim, Jewish, Christian, Buddhist etc.
Humans feel comfortable following a path of least resistance and this has percolated even into the corpus and mandates of police and intelligence agencies. I've seen the reactions and treatment by British police to Israeli tourists who were invited there by the government! I've seen a similar bias in Canada as well to a lesser degree.
If people aren't honest about truth vs fiction than those who are REAL dangers will fly under the radar and succeed.
