Exactly Why You Should Buy an EV

I don't understand all the empty hubbub rhetoric surrounding evs. If you want a gas car buy onee. If you want an ev buy one. This is another non issue.
Yes, it's an issue when the Government is spending billion's of taxpayer dollars to force EV's on the public and pass laws to phase out gasoline cars.

Still expensive and occasionally shortages

It's cheaper than gasoline ... there certainly has never been a shortage in my lifetime ... what nonsense are you spewing? ...

An "occasional shortage" of Columbia River ... that's stupid ... like shortages of Pacific Ocean ... good grief, any vomit rather than put solar panels on a coal seam ...

Keep in mind, I don't need to haul 200 gallons of diesel fuel up into the remote woods like my neighbor does ... he kinda has to run a Ford F-350 to get up them loggin' roads ... however, I'm fine running a golf cart for groceries ... with electric rates to smelt aluminum with hahahahaha ... this is the Pacific Northwest, puppy, renewable hydro is king ...

I don't think so. The market and the corporatocracy won't let that happen
Incorrect Poindexter
The government will force both of them to get onboard with the EV / green energy scam.
.................................................................................................................................................

EVs are cheaper where electricity is abundant ... where renewables are cheap, constant and effective ... electric rates to smelt aluminum with ... raining every day all day long means lots and lots of hydro-power ...

Only losers burn coal ... losers ...
So if you live in an apartment, where's your abundant electricity? Renewables are cheap? We obviously smoke weed. What are you expecting, someone that can only afford a $20,000 car expected to buy a $50,000 EV, then several thousand on solar panels that'll probably take a week to charge the car over a 90 foot extension cable lying across the pavement and road, in a climate where solar is shit (try Scotland).

First, let's make sure we're all on the same page. INIT is talking about CA, not the rest of us, and I don't see how the state CA gov't can force people to go green with EVs in 3 years. Ain't happening.

What does living in an apartment have to do with Bonneville Dam, The Dallas Dam and John Day Dam ... 6 gigawatts plated buck-o ...

How does one third of motorists get the 'abundant cheap free' electric from their house to their car when they can't charge from home!! What planet do you live on??

Where electricity is cheap and abundant ... everyone has 125 amp services ... and really 200 amp services on anything built in the past 50 years ... more than enough to charge a golf cart or two ... the alternative is called "public transportation" ... stupid ... 90% of folks don't deserve passenger vehicles ... leave the roads open for fossil fuel trucking ...

If gasoline is cheaper where you live ... then burn it ... stupid ... but if you live next to a 2 gigawatt hydropower plant, maybe an EV is worth looking into ...

/——-/ Only if we let them.

Only if we march up to them by the hundreds of thousands, guns in hands, then they will do it whether we like it or not.

It's a nice sentiment but it isn't realistic at all.

Tens of millions of illegals come here and raise crime rates, get free housing, free money, free food and do nothing. We send hundreds of billions to Ukraine while our economy collapsed worrying about their border while ours is open. We openly sexualize children and turn them to trannies. We demand lies like men pretending to be a woman is a woman. We punish whites while propping up blacks and call it fair. We lower test scores in schools to abysmal levels to make kids stupider and we call it fair to non whites. We have politicians threaten and taunt citizens. We have prices going out of control. We see God being removed gradually from america and see muslims getting stronger. We let "protestors" burn, loot and destroy towns but call them righteous activists. And a whole lot more.

Why exactly do you think people would rise up over oil? We have already let them get away with much worse.

If they took it away people would complain online but at the end of the day we will all sit and suck on it.

That is the purpose of Democrats. To ruin America.

Hydro my butt. Try that talk in Southern Arizona.

New car sales.

New California executive order requires that "by 2035, all new cars and passenger trucks sold in California be zero-emission vehicles."
Existing vehicles that run on fossil fuel would be allowed to keep operating.

Is this the death knell for the internal combustion engine? In a word: maybe.
Zero emissions starting in 2035

— that's the talking point for California Gov. Gavin Newsom's controversial executive order from September 23, 2020.

Why would anyone live in southern Arizona? ... for extra credit, why not install rooftop solar? ... and what kind of person burns coal in West Virginia for heat? ...

Poor can't afford a home or "solar" installations on any rooftop. They can barely afford a leaky roof.

Most are in APTS. Many in 3rd floor or higher. Parking is outside in public. Do the math. Need outlets and charger without kids playing around or meth heads cutting copper cables..
