Marvin Martian, certainly the defendant, (Littlejohn) committed the crime. It's imposing “the maximum sentence” that troubles me.

All but 4 of those thus far found guilty of participating in or otherwise directly or indirectly contributed to the planning, or preparing, or support, or in any manner deliberately enable the January 6th seditious attack upon the Capitol Building were charged and tried for crimes lesser than sedition against the United States. Only 4 people were thus far so charged; they were tried and found guilty of seditious conspiracy against the United States.

It's my understanding that all those thus far tried and found guilty of seditious conspiracy or lesser crimes relative to the January 6th attack upon the Capitol Building, similarly (as Littlejohn), pleaded they acted out of sincere belief they were serving the public interest. I don't believe all of them, or possibly not a majority of them did also, as Littlejohn stated it was his “misguided, belief” or went on to state "My actions undermined the fragile trust we place in government”?

Apparently thus far, the “maximum sentences” was imposed upon few if any of those charged and found guilty of crimes related to the January 6thseditious attack.
Among the four defendants who have thus far been tried and found guilty of the more serious crime seditious conspiracy against the United States of America, If they were sentenced. I doubt if the "maximum" sentence for their crime was imposed upon them?

The man who I have good reason to believe was most responsible for that January 6th seditious attack upon the Capitol Building, the U.S. Congressional members, their staff, and other federal and Washington D.C. employees in and around the building, will be tried later of this year and he's not on trial for sedition against the United States. Our U.S. Department of Justice has shown itself to be unwilling or unable to do what's right. No person should be beyond the jurisdiction of the law. Respectfully, Supposn
