You don't believe DNA exists? ... how about "inherited traits" ... or "cellular life"? ... how are you defining "distinct species", I ask because experts in each family define species depending on what's useful ... the Canines have proven to be especially difficult to divide up ... do some research maybe ... you seem to be holding silly quaint 19th Century beliefs ...
