Ever More NYC Based Folks Relocating FROM NYC.

I saw signs at U-haul in Chandler AZ (PHX suburb), one way to LA special $45.

Meaning, they had a lot full of Leaving CA. But none needed going back.

Stain, they don't care. They deny. Like they say above. Plenty illegals to replace them. Put it on the "card" wait for Commee in office to bail them out. Newscum 101.
The states of Commiefornia, Illinois, New Pork, Oregone & Washington appear to me to be the "Alamo" for the statist lefties. If one notices all 5 of the above mentioned states are coastal states, save for Illinois which borders the great lakes. Shipping = $$$$$ like small wonder why the statist lefties hang on to those states like they are their saviors.

Think most moving is about cost of buying, or renting, housing?

There are eight million people in NYC. Even if 100,000 losers up and left, there’d still be 7,900,000 people left.

No great loss.

NY->FL is twice the cost of FL->NY.

You can, but you'll pay through the nose.

Indeed, it cost me $1500.00 to rent a small box U-Haul one way from Upper NY State to North Carolina...

New York City has experienced significant population declines in recent years, though the rate has slowed compared to earlier pandemic-related losses. In 2023, the city lost nearly 78,000 residents, shrinking its population to approximately 8.26 million, according to U.S. Census Bureau estimates.
This marked a notable improvement from the previous year, when New York City lost more than 126,000 residents.
From April 2020 to July 2023, the city lost nearly 550,000 residents, representing a decline of over 6 percent of its population.
While the city's overall decline in 2023 accounted for about three-quarters of New York State’s total population loss of nearly 102,000, the trend shows signs of stabilization.

The statist lefties keep shooting themselves in the foot. Commiefornia also lost a LOT of residents & businesses because of the bogus marxist ideology so prevalent in certain areas of that state.

Now NYC is heading into a certain decline financially just as California did/is doing. For the statist left they really do believe that two wrongs make a right!

Gotta keep those violent loony lefties bottled up in those lefty controlled concrete jungles one way or the other until we can figure out how to civilize them, or get them off the public streets altogether.
