Has anyone here ever been banned by a chat-room board?
I have been a bit, er, testy recently, and last night
I called a mod on another board an "asshole" in a PM.
Well, that's what he is, and it had to said; I haven't
checked in yet today, but I have a feeling my days
there are numbered.
It all started when he closed a thread of mine out of the blue,
and with no explanation.
It was a "History Quiz" thread exactly like the one here,
posted in one of three board History forums.
Then in another thread another member posted a laughing
emoticon in reply to an amusing anecdote I had posted.
The SOB deleted that, too- seems he doesn't approve
of laughter.
I posted a reply to the thread containing several laughing
emoticons, and a phrase or two questioning the mentality
of someone who thinks laughter should be censored.
Dick head deleted that post, as well as another unrelated
post, and sent me a warning for questioning administrative
decisions in public.
That's when I lost it. I might have called him a "dork"
and a "douchebag" too- being pissed off makes me forget
what I have said sometimes. 10 or so beers don't help either.
