The cars are expensive, the batteries are expensive, charging times are long and charging
stations are limited
This might change somebody but it's not really ready for prime time as of now

The important point is the USG should not force anybody to adopt EV, they are not our king, we
make our own choices, rather supply and demands make them and they are not in demand

Ford has lightning trucks sitting in lots they can't sell at a discount, this is fact

yep, ford spent billions and they have lots full of F-150 lightning trucks they can't sell
what is a truck for generally? towing.....the more weight you tow the faster the battery drains down

imagine hauling your 5th wheel with the family to the woods only to be stuck there because the truck has no juice
to return home
You better have a honda generator handy and some gasoline to charge it up

Here’s my prediction. Republicans don’t like EV and they certainly won’t subsidize ev car manufacturers. Right? So we agree, we can’t compete with China ev. So trump will let cheap China EV cars in to America. With a tariff. But gas cars must be made in America. So people who want EV can buy Chinese EV. But republicans can buy gas cars.

This will bring car prices down. And if EV get too expensive people can go back to gas

My brother drives his Jeep 3.5 hours up north. But he has a charger and also I think it runs on gas too. But yea I see you point.

Totalitarian greenies in california do not intend to give consumers a choice as they mandate electric cars or nothing

Teslas are all over southern California. We had brownouts long before Teslas were everywhere. When charging, Teslas use as much electricity as 100 to 150 average houses. The wet greenie dream of all EVs is absurdly expensive and we cannot cope with the electrical demand. Other than that, forty-six percent of EV owners want to go back to gasoline engines.
