Europe says it it ‘ready to negotiate,

Thats a question I have asked.
Well you should. We have heard "invest and cut taxes". Guess what, $36.56 trillion in debt to show for it.
Some are going to say "the corporations pay employees and they pay taxes" Well it ain't working out is it?

In 2024, Tesla reported $2.3 billion in U.S. income but paid zero federal income tax.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:
  • Zero Federal Income Tax:
Tesla's 2024 financial report showed the company reported $2.3 billion in U.S. income but paid no current federal income tax.

  • Tax Rate:
Over the past three years, Tesla's average tax rate has been 0.4%, significantly lower than the statutory corporate tax rate of 21%.

  • Potential Reasons:
This low tax rate could be attributed to the use of accelerated depreciation, tax credits, and potentially other tax avoidance strategies.

So just what laws were broken, Cherry?
You should be pissed at Congress creating the 1600 page tax code.
Elon has good CO's doing their job, just like you and I do. :eusa_whistle:

:doubt:

For decades, Trump has argued that the US should use tariffs to boost its economy.

He says they will encourage US consumers to buy more American-made goods, increase the amount of tax raised and lead to huge levels of investment in the country.

Trump wants to reduce the gap between the value of goods the US buys from other countries and the value of those it sells to them. He argues that America has been taken advantage of by "cheaters" and "pillaged" by foreigners.

If corporate America isn't paying... and no Tariff money.. and all these "invest schemes" obviously are not working.. $36.56 trillion in debt.. and now DOTARD is backpedaling on tariffs..

that "Golden Age" is looking like

I prefer it going to the debt, but I'm not president.
The checks would be going back to the taxpayers
who've been getting hosed. I understand the concept,
but....I really don't need the 5K

Unlike the stimulus checks, the DOGE dividend checks would be only for households that pay federal income taxes.

I think you did miss where I stated it would "be going back to the taxpayers who have been getting hosed", right?
:rolleyes-41:

Howard Lutnick says he hopes Trump’s tariffs will eliminate China’s ‘army of millions and millions of human beings screwing in little, little screws to make iPhones’ so they can be built in America by robots :laughing0301::laughing0301::laughing0301::laughing0301:
