Europe says it it ‘ready to negotiate,

Do you remember Solyndra?
I remember Tesla and SpaceX and the tax deals that got them in Texas.

India and Brazil have lots of tariffs. Not exactly manufacturing powerhouses.

Tax and incentives are what Singapore, South Korea, Japan, and now China use. Tax incentives turned Ireland into the Emerald Tiger for a decade and was successful in a lot of development in PR before it was ended. Its also a Jack Kemp idea.

Who will buy a US Made television set for 5K, when I can get one at COSTCO for $399
.

The television my family had when I was growing up was made in America was a more expensive brand, and lasted 25 years. How many cheap Chinese TV's will you buy in 25 years?

Long ago I was a manager at Pizza Hut, which was owned by Pepsico. They discovered that we were buying potato chips from someone other than Frito Lay (also owned by Pepsico) and ordered all Pizza Huts to change to Frito Lay. So, yes, they discovered that we should be buying our own products instead of going elsewhere to buy so that we have the goods and the money.
Most food franchises have such conditions, usually for quality control.

Zero. I buy Japanese tv's.

If American tv's are so great, why did all the American tv manufacturers go out of business?

Because AMERICA can not compete in the manufacturing industry. The labor costs are too high.

Those days are LONG gone and they are NOT coming back.

The USA is a service based economy. The service sector accounts for the vast majority of US economic activity, with services like finance, healthcare, education, and entertainment playing a crucial role.

You don't want the USA to "bring this back". There is a reason China and India and all those "shit hole" countries are polluted..
