It really is funny to see the Democrats worry so much about files they had in their hands for years now pretending that some Trumplet is tying them up to protect Trump.

1. The DOJ has the files.
2. The DOJ had these files all through Biden's term (but democrats assumed Trump would never be back and that they'd succeed in "getting him" with their lawsuits.
3. The DOJ is still filled with all the same democrats left over from Obumma.
4. Bondi may be AG, but the DOJ is still a mostly democrat-controlled deep state.
5. The DOJ is not dragging its feet to protect Trump as much as it is trying to protect democrats from collateral damage. Epstein was, after all, a democrat himself. The idea is to protect them while making Trump look guilty of something not really there.
6. If anyone thinks that the DOJ now jumps at Bondi's every command just because she is AG, I have some swamp land in Florida to sell you.

No, I expect that democrats will actively resist, block and deny any interest in much less involvement by Bill Clinton, because, well, Hillary and all that.

AP quotes the deputy AG putting the number of Epstein files to be released at “hundreds of thousands”. 4,000 were released on the Friday deadline mandated by Congress. Assuming there are 400,000 files, since we don’t know exactly how many “hundreds of thousands” there are,
We get 4000 /400,000 =0.01, or 1% of the files.
