Project H.O.O.D is already making positive impacts for the poor Black community of Chicago. This all started by one man with no government help or sponsors. The McCormack community center is well into construction. Pastor Brooks focuses on the real problems this community faces: daily shootings and murders, Fatherless homes, the illegal drug trade, lack of opportunity and hopelessness.

Our Entrepreneurship & Job Readiness pillar is a testament to our commitment to providing individuals with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to thrive in the workforce and pursue entrepreneurial endeavors. We believe in creating opportunities for individuals to achieve financial stability, pursue meaningful careers, and explore their entrepreneurial aspirations.



We provide comprehensive job training programs, job placement support, and career development resources to ensure individuals are prepared for the workforce.



Additionally, we nurture entrepreneurial aspirations through mentorship, business development workshops, and access to resources, enabling individuals to turn their business ideas into thriving ventures.



Our Impact

  • Provided financial coaching to 1,000 community members
  • Graduated over 122 certified construction workers
  • Helped over 250 residents of Woodlawn & Englewood find employment
