Empty classified folder at trump towers garners timely attention

There's a serious side to your comedy routine.

America's military won't be appreciating any of the attempts to turn it into a joke.

IN fact, it can be assumed that Trump's secret service bodyguards will be increased in number and be on high alert!

And besides, what can America's allies be thinking?
What is your point?

When we're the folders last used? No doubt there are tons of file folders used, emptied and discarded or put aside for reuse. It's the same in every office.

The empty folders were found in a box with magazines, newspaper clippings, miscellaneous notes and photos. Apparently someone thought that this box would be sorted out and put in empty file folders for that use.
I found some old empty folders my kid used for their homework in junior high...do I need to call the fbi or some other democrat party organization

Give me some construction paper and a $50.00 printer and I'll run a hundred empty folders.

Empty folders are going to be found everywhere, particularly in bars.
Classified material cover folders, Comrade?

Where is the documentation of all that trump took being declassified?
GSA policy and procedure... They were responsible for all documents leaving the white house. Absent a written or verbal declassification order, the documents would have been retained by the government personnel. IF Trump was allowed to possess them, they were declassified.

the question has been asked and answered.

the former contents of the now empty folders were:

Poor Jimmy....

GSA protocols preclude classified information be removed from the white house. When Trump left, everything he took was declassified. This thing just blew up in your face and you are clueless.

The evidence of Trump’s corruption and criminality becomes more damning.

We’ve gone from national security and military intelligence documents improperly stored exposed to loss, destruction, or theft to national security and military intelligence documents likely lost, destroyed, or taken.

There might not ever have been anything in the file folders. They don't print a new folder for every document. There are boxes of empty file folders with every kind of designation the government uses. Someone said, "I'll just put in a few folders for when this mess is sorted out."

Statement: When Trump left, everything he took was declassified.

Response: Provide evidence to support every document that was classified was declassified.

If the comment by James Risch is correct, and this was not a sure thing then the President trump does have the power to declassify everything.

Is that wise? And when trump was a former president does, he still has the power to declassify SECRET, TOP SECRET (TS) and above TS documents by himself alone?

This is a muddy issue, and I suspect The Congress will need to pass an Amendment to the Constitution to provide a clear manner in which to declassify documents using the Separation of Powers: The Congress, the President and other members of the Executive Office, the AG, the Atomic Energy Commission, and the 17 U.S agencies of the intelligence community.

The GSA is the general services administration and has nothing, at all to do with this....

Pick another agency.....

Trump is in trouble because he took thousands and thousands and thousands of government records with him, when he was advised by Whitehouse counselors not to, of which hundreds were classified, and dozens were secret and top secret files and documents originating in other agencies.

Trump can not use a magic wand to declassify all documents in his 60 cases of records shipped to Mara lago.... There is a process to declassify documents, on top secret and defense classification material, it is REQUIRED to go to the original agency that classified it, to assess the national security risk, before it goes through...and when a document is declassified, it makes the document available through FOIA, these top secrets to every foreign enemy we have, and for you and me.

DECLASSIFYING with a magic wand without individual analysis, is an abuse of power and breaks the Constitution's TAKE CARE CLAUSE.

Au contraire. The GSA has a Presidential Transition Team.

Among other duties, the 'Team' has a moving company under contract that packs and moves the leaving President's stuff and helps move in the incoming President.

Nope. That's not how it works. All the documents belong to the National Archives. Trump is a liar. You should know that by now.

Thanks. So why did they move CLEARLY MARKED CLASSIFIED with WARNING JACKETS DOCUMENTS, if they are not allowed to let any of that stuff out of the whitehouse? Did the president or Meadows or someone in power, order them to?
