Emails lost during the Bush administration.

Wait, what?

Where was Issa? In fact..where were the Republicans?

EPSTEIN: Let me just finish the point. During the Bush administration, the Valerie Plame investigation, a contributor on this network came on to concede that 5 million emails may have been lost by the White House during the course of the U.S. attorney investigation, e-mails were misplaced, during the course of the torture memo investigation e-mails were lost. This isn't the first time this has happened. I think the question is, and the question for Cleta, is there any demonstration of any bad faith here? All of the administration ...

5 million? And from the WHITE HOUSE???

And it happened MULTIPLE TIMES:

The Bush White House email controversy surfaced in 2007, during the controversy involving the dismissal of eight U.S. attorneys. Congressional requests for administration documents while investigating the dismissals of the U.S. attorneys required the Bush administration to reveal that not all internal White House emails were available, because they were sent via a non-government domain hosted on an email server not controlled by the federal government. Conducting governmental business in this manner is a possible violation of the Presidential Records Act of 1978, and the Hatch Act.[1] Over 5 million emails may have been lost or deleted.[2][3] Greg Palast claims to have come up with 500 of the Karl Rove lost emails, leading to damaging allegations.[4] In 2009, it was announced that as many as 22 million emails may have been deleted.[5]

To say Bush was clean might really be true....The people around him? Not so much. Yet even all that administration did pales in comparison to what Obama administration has done....Also they do it with such arrogance because they know the media will cover their ass. What is even more scary is the amount of idiots who actually think no wrong doing happened or that it is all made up....We need to take back our schools because they are pumping out retards at a alarming rate.

Are liberals actually trying to defend this? Wow, it sucks when I am always right by saying they stand for nothing, and we are always right when we claim they are nothing but hypocrites and that liberals are nothing more than a scourge on human liberty everywhere on earth.

The fact that these so called educated morons defend this blatant crime along with every other blatant violation of the law of this pathetic criminal administration through the most corrupt political machine in this country from Chicago only shows how pathetically hopeless of a condition we are in.

They actually think these scandals are all myths.

These so called academic types that try and defend this with out resorting to name calling or going to back to the BOOOOOSH cliche are nothing but bags of pus.

Trey Gowdy is quickly becoming my favorite.....

So Josh Koskinen claims he did not look at the statutes and then in the same breath said he did not see any evidence, even though he said he did not review any of them.

He then says it again and again. Now we all know that will make sense to liberals like rightwinger or closedcaption. We know that, don't we?

I loved when Gowdy crushed him when the moron Koskinen tried to blame republicans for perpetuating the myth and Gowdy said....

"It was Jay Carney that perpetuated the myth of two rogue agents and the president that said there was not a smidgen of corruption, yet the left claim it is the republicans that perpetuated this?"

More proof that not only do liberals not stand for anything, but it is laughable how they claim to be such academics.

You know what would be great?

US Core IT Group.

That way? It's the same folks charged with running the IT for the government.

Now? It's really just a bunch of consultants. It's also underfunded.

That sort of group would employ many of the vets that are coming home. Why? Because many of them have the sort of skills required by the field.

And why weren’t republicans demanding an investigation, as the Bush DOJ scandal was just as serious as the issues under investigation now, if not more so.

President Bill Clinton was impeached.

This is the worst kind of post there is. You excuse bad behavior that is detrimental to our country by simply pointing to previous bad behavior. The cycle keeps going on year after year and decade after decade with no real change in our elected officials.

When the lost Bush emails concern the deliberate targeting of opposing viewpoints to affect the outcome of a presidential election you can bring it up. obama directed a criminal conspiracy.

This isn't going to go away, a new president can bring criminal charges and a new attorney general can prosecute them.

what's the statute of limitations ? Maybe Bush still has some time left before he goes to jail.

Hold on...let me go slow for you.

When the lost emails (i.e.The emails that cannot be found) concern deliberate targeting of opposing viewpoints (we dont know what the emails concerns since as you mentioned earlier, they are lost) to affect the outcome of a presidential election you can bring it up.

Once we know what the lost emails were about THEN we can speculate?
