Because it's not true that Elons DOGE found this fraud....the GAO found through an audit looking in to U/E abuse, during the COVID pandemic, and prosecuted over 2000 individuals abusing lax U/E rules during covid. The rest were determined to be legit, and mostly due to their protocol handling of people being attacked by identity theft, and not using their real birth dates to prevent future identity theft.
