ALL of the government bailouts in 2008 went to the corporations whose greed, profiteering and mismanagement lead to the economic collapse in the first place. Republicans didn't even want to extend unemployment insurance benefits. Let the lazy sons of bitches get back to work. Those lazy shits are just getting too comfortable sitting on their asses at home.

I strongly oppose ANY large corporation bailouts. Nothing for McDonalds or large restaurant chains. These are some of the largest most profitable corporations in America, ones whose worker wages are subsidized by food stamps, Medicaid, and Section 8. They just got a 12% tax cut. NOT ONE NICKEL. Give their employees a $2000 a month minimum wage, plus universal health care.

In the novel "World War Z" ... not that crappy Brad Pitt movie that had nothing in common with the book except the title ... one of the best chapters is about a group of C-list celebs who decided to wait out the Z War in their own private shelter.

Their shelter was a huge mansion in Long Island, New York. Surrounded by high walls and paid armed security. The demi-celebs had the best food and drink and they broadcast their thoughts and feeling about the catastrophe to The Internet because, as we all know, what celebrities think about world events is vitally important.

Unfortunately for them, they broadcast the location of their hide-away and a massive horde descended on their compound. Not a horde of zombies, but a horde of ordinary folks looking to survive.

The mercenary security force, who the celebrities treated like dirt, told the celebs that they were paid to protect the celebs from zombies, not from regular folks. They stood aside and let the mob tear the celebs apart while they watched, and laughed.

Watching a sight like that would be well worth a zombie apocalypse.
