Kidnappers attacked a Matamoros newspaper on Wednesday, taking its editor during a struggle only to release him after threatening to kill him.
El Mañana reported that its Matamoros editor, Enrique Juárez Torrez, was violently kidnapped after the attackers blamed the newspaper for publishing details about the recent violence that has gripped the northern Tamaulipas border.
