The Eisteddfod is a national arts festival held every year in Wales. The crown and chair are presented to the winning poet in the highlight of the week.
A unique twist is that they are not handed out every year. If the judges do not consider the standard to be high enough they refuse to award the prize.
Imagine Chris Rock gettng on stage and saying -

Such is the Eisteddfod. I am not sure there is another in the world although Latvia holds a song festival.
