But it seems logical that either the subways should have been shut down completely, or greatly increased for better social distancing.
But to shut them down, you would have had to house hospital staff.
Something drastic would have had to have been done, like taking over schools for essential housing and things like that.
So, it’s OK for the rest of the country to be inconvenienced, but not New Yorkers.
