it is just too simple....

3 cups berries ( i have used strawberrys, blueberries, pineapple and cherries) blueberry is the best
1 cup self rising flour
1 stick melted butter
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar

preheat oven to 375...butter a baking dish.i use a 9 in pie pan...melt the stick of butter....add the flour, the milk, the sugar....mix well there will be a few small lumps...pour this into buttered baking dish..now do not stir berries into batter...simple spoon them gently on top of batter...bake for 30 minutes or so....for some reason the blueberry one will take longer in the middle...i use the toothpick test....where you stick a toothpick in the middle and if it comes out clean its ready...

serve with french vanilla ice cream....now this will feed four normal people or two eaters....you can double it with no worries....dont use too deep a dish if you double it....go with a longer shallower pan

we just have clingstones here......i wont mess with peaches till free stones come in

It's black berry and Mulberry season here and Huckle berry...

Ah luv me some huckleberries. I got a spot down the Parkway where I can load up once they come in.

Gonna have about a billion blackberries here at the ranch too.

blackberries and raspberries are looking good.....but then the wax wings will pass by lol
